This section is still in development, but in the meantime here are some links to examples of audio, photos, videos edited-produced, videos filmed, plus web ads and promos:

Audio by Chuck Scott

  • Audio Restortation: Here is an example of a before-n-after of Don Ho's Tiny Bubbles ... The client had a family produced mix-tape of two hours of music from five or six different albums from different era's (1950s - 1970s) and the cassette tape was getting worn ... I converted the tape to digital, edited out pops'n-crackles, noise reduced tape and record hiss, plus adjusted EQ and volumes for a punchier sound but one that was also true to the original harmonics in each of the songs ...

  • Music Production: Most of the voice-overs and songs found on KissPrint.com have been recorded and/or produced by me ... Song for VanDyke is not only our favorite song thus far, but also is perhaps the best example of my current skills with regards to recording and production.

  • Recording and Scoring a Meditation: Here is a link to a meditation that I produced for a client's blog ... Initially we were only going to do a recording of the meditation without any music, but then after I finished editing and polishing the voice I was wondering how to push the envelope and score a meditation without the classic approaches of using strings, soft piano, light acoustic guitars, etc., thus got permission from client to give it a whirl, and voila - three pieces of separate music came together for this final version you hear here ...

  • Voice-Overs: Katie, Kasha (our dog), and I had some fun creating the voice-overs for this event promo - a Men's Retreat - I also scored the music which you hear supporting the narration ...

  • Other Audio Projects: Include producing scores for film, like the Director's View Film Festival Featured Short, various podcasts, interviews, CoolTea promo CDs, plus more ...

Videos Edited and Produced by Chuck Scott

  • Church Marketing: Features a ten minute video clip for SaintPatrickBridgeport.com - and in my Chucking It Blog this article describes some of what went into creating this video clip ... Note that I did not film it, but did the editing, provided the graphics, high-resolution photographs and scored the soundtrack ... Perhaps The Rosary Videos are some of my best work ...

  • Educational - Training - Marketing: Here is a link to an 11MB Quicktime file that is just over seven minutes long - Non-Modal Peaks and Nulls in Small Rooms - and it is found within this RealTrap's page which also has links to various other video formats plus information about the video and subject ... This was a two camera shoot that I filmed, edited, and it was groundbreaking on several levels - e.g., the client's biggest problem with a new product in a new market was how to show what could not be seen and thus scientifically prove without doubt the validity of the unseen and need for their products ...

  • Product Demonstration: How to Install MiniTraps - now a streaming flash video that was originally a Quicktime file approx 28MB and 19 minutes in length ... Here too, I did the filming, editing, scored the soundtrack, created special effects, provided sanity on set, etc. :>)

  • Other Video Edits: My video editing portfolio also includes a variety of videos edited, re-mastered, compressed, and/or converted to different formats - e.g., Film Festival Promos converted from BETA to DVD and Web delivery; Cable shows re-edited and converted to DVD and Web delivery; Hi-8 and VHS tapes converted and remixed to DVDs; plus ...

Videos Filmed by Chuck Scott

  • Music Videos: Tele-Vision is almost finished after a summer of shooting in studio and on location with over 75 hours using my favorite video camera - a triple-chip Sony DCR-VX2000 - plus my single-chip Panasonic (also a very worthy piece of gear) ... This visually stimulating rock-orchestral video is dedicated to the electric guitar and will be unveiled later this Fall ... I'm very excited on several levels and this client's previous music video - A Cello Rondo - received critical acclaim and has been downloaded over 1/2 a million times ... I helped out on A Cello Rondo but this time with Tele-Vision, I supplied creative consulting, did all the filming, provided opening graphics, the kaleidoscope backgrounds, plus assisted with wardrobe and even did a bit cameo-part in the percussion section as a Cat-in-the-hat Parrot Head ...

  • Product Demonstration: How to Set Up and Treat a Listening Room - a Windows Media file approx 14 minutes in length and 28megs ... Here is the RealTrap's page with links to other video file formats plus background information ...

  • Other Videographer Projects: My portfolio as videographer also includes shooting a variety of documentary videos (my specialty), various corporate events, special occasions, promos, stock-video, celebrity performances, plus ...

Web Ads and Promos Created by Chuck Scott

  • Web Ad with Audio: More than just a banner ad, here is a link to a pdf (239k Acrobat file) that features a screenshot of the homepage at SaintPatrickBridgeport.com promoting a Men's Retreat ... The Men's Retreat graphic was composed from two different Chuck Scott photos (i.e., sunset beach scene merged with two-way road sign), and while the client supplied the event text, it was re-formatted into optimized who-what-where-when per seasoned event marketing wisdom gained from years of hosting and promoting CoolTea events ... The addition of the corresponding audio clip provided an added interactive dimension with entertainment and event promotional value ...

  • Event Promo using Flash Plus Music: Here is a link to an example promoting a one-day youth event ... The client had only a pdf file (and nothing else) so I cut graphic pieces out of the pdf file to create a series of stills then placed them on a timeline, added some transitions, music, and voila - flash clip with excitement and energy promoting their event ... I even coded the page such that if a browser did not have flash, they would see a nice promo graphic in place of the flash clip ...
